Saddle Durability?

I see saddles are actually losing durability in ASA. Does anyone know if they actually break? Do they throw you off your mount? What about platform saddles? Do platform saddles break? If so, that would be a nightmare.

I have yet to see even a primitive saddle take enough damage to get anywhere close to breaking it, but I wonder the same

I might have to test this. I have a raptor with a saddle that is getting pretty ragged. It certainly is showing damage visually.

Are you sure? I've had saddles at 0/250 durability before, rare for sure.. testing if the armour affect is disabled or not.. is pretty hard to see but the saddle "falls off" the dino and goes to inv and you have to repair it. By that time... you're usually dead and so is your dino, it can take several dino deaths to wear out a saddle.

You sure? Because I have a raptor who's saddle is actually showing damage corresponding to the durability loss.

Its still is a visual bug, the Saddle will never disappear

i have had an ascended bary saddle break during a fight in the hard ice cave on asa the island. i was thrown off and killed. the bary was killed too.
