Playing crossplay from my pc with my buddies on playstation

I am trying to figure out how to play ark with my buddies on cross platform. I have a pc and they all have ps5. I dont wanna spend money on an official server because the game was supposed to be crossplay so why would I keep spending money. Please someone help so I can play with my buddies.

You need a server for cross play, so you'll either all need to join the same one, or put money together to rent one if you can't self host it on your PC.

You can host your own dedicated server on PC. Lookup a guide on how to use Steamcmd, this will let you host your server without having to buy a second copy. This is how i play with my brother who has a Ps5. The server appears in the unofficial server list in game and anyone can join it.

i don’t have anything else to play on i’d have to use my gaming computer to be able to host it as well as play.
