Dyes disappear

Whenever I try to transfer a dye into my inventory, it vanishes making it impossible to obtain. I tried dropping it on the ground and then collecting it, but it didn't work either. By the way I play on SP with stack mod.

Update: It seems to be in my inventory properly. When I die, I can see all the dyes that I got in my corpse, but when I retrieve it, it disappears again.

OMG i've been playing this game for over a month and I did not know that the cosmetics tab exist... It's so embarrassing... Thank you for the information!

its ok it had me messed up at first too, i think its super common.
