Lost Items and Chibi in Singleplayer

I was killed by a Thyla while being careless going through the redwoods, After i recovered my body, i got all of my broken gear, but anything that wasn't broken and still on my "body" before it was eaten seems to have disappeared. the armor wasn't really anything too special, but i did lose my chibi.... Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Chibi go in the center tab up top. It's there with skins and dye.

I know, It isn't there though. For some reason my chest piece, my gloves, and my chibi seem to have all disappeared into the ether

If this happens again, rush to cords 50 50 and see if they are there. They may even be floating there. I've seen even beavers nest ported there like 100 feet up.

Good thing about SP is you can fix bugs by spawning in what you lost

That's true, just trying to avoid the commands as much as physically possible, gotta grind out more chibi levels really

Try fast travelling between beds without dropping your inventory, it should spawn a bag at the bed you traveled from.

I'm on ps5 but noticed this happening. I tend to lose ammo as well
