Single player not saving

Game does not save on a single player or non-dedicated server, tried everything to reclaim lost hours but in vain.

Please if you encounter this bug, just refund the game and move on. Don't accept losing many hours, take your money and run away.

PS. Lost about 6 days of progress.

40 bucks is not a money, ark is not a game - its a pain simulator with dinos. Save works just fine.

Put console on, in parameters, then manually save each time you do something important with commande "saveworld" in command

Then you could too, make a copy of the directory

steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved

Each time i go to something important, i make a zip archive of the whole Saved directory.
Then i restaure it if something "fail" or "bug"...

Just make a "Saveworld" before make the RAR, or Zip archive of the "saved" directory

Yep, if the game crashes it deletes your progress up to the last save.

Ark never deletes saves. If, during world load, it sees corrupted savegame then it will try to load anticorruption backup and so on, this can be handled manually by renaming savegame files.

'Don't accept losing many hours' HAHAHA lil bro that's what gonna happen to you 99% of the time in PvP and they didnt even fix anythin in the game , this morning i just tried a solo broodmother and .. fatal error ! lost all dinos and kit let'sssgoo such a fun and enjoyable game xDD

I have exactly the same problem, at the beginning everything was fine, but the last 5-6 days the position is not saved. I play on X BOX.sorry use a translator

Big difference between losing stuff to pvp and pve, and losing it to a glitch. Too much gamer Stockholm syndrome, a game that works is asking too much? C'mon

Yes, what I do is click SaveGame and then run SaveWorld command and just shut down the console. Next time I play it does not load a save, just lets me play from when I shut the console (its a console perk).

I used to play pvp back when I had loads of free hours, now I am older and could not be bothered to lose so much due to raids etc.
