just stoped working. I always find out its not working
right in the middle of combat.
Not the best place or situation to find out lol
If you think the delay in ark is normal, stop kidding yourself. The acceptable delay from clicking to registration to damage delt to player feedback (4 steps) should be near-exactly the same delay as your latency to server. In my case it is roughly 60-200ms depending on the server.
These servers are worse than that by far. In-fact sometimes I've seen multiple seconds delay.
If you think that is acceptable, fine, but most gamers these days do not.
70 players on a server. That's 70 x the lag for each individual and you expect perfect results. Do you live in cloud cuckoo land? I get 30-50 ms ping to my server.. and sometimes still lag.. or "miss". If you spam click you will miss and if you spam click on a full server, full of foundation spam and overbred dino parks.. you'll miss a whole lot more.
Generally, depending on the server, slowing down your spam.. makes for a better life. Of course everyone wants to live in the ideal world.. sadly they just don't exist.
I have nearly 4500 hours in Ark ASE and about the same in Atlas and about 500 in ASA, my observations of the game hasn't changed. I however don't like in expectation of perfection, I just roll with the blows.. and make the best of it as I can. But to each their own.
Incorrect. Even with 70 players, latency of the internet remains a constant from your location.
The issue lies with the Nitrado servers themselves. Stop kidding yourself. If they would put more processing power towards the actual servers a lot of the lag would be fixed.
Lol. And I'm kidding myself.. listen to yourself. Why would they do that? The servers are paid for enmass and strung along a network.. the servers at one end will always react faster than the ones at the other end simply because of factual delays.. 69 other players from random locations spread all over the world and you're expecting a perfect connection? Do you even have the most basic clue about what you're actually demanding.
It has nothing to do with the connection dude. It has everything to do with the servers themselves.
again, stop pretending like you understand. go be a troll somewhere else.
70 concurrent connections is nothing. There are much bigger games out there that have literally 100+ players connected at the same time. ♥♥♥♥, even minecraft servers have better player-feedback loop speeds than Ark.
Point being. If Nitrado would actually invest into their own hardware more, most of these issues would not be so prevailant.
Not all the blame is on Nitrado however. Wildcard also needs to fix the Server software.. which they have been steadily improving.
We are two people in our server. And one of us is having the same problem. I don't think what you are coming up with is the problem here. But good try.
Name 1.
There are no games available that push the kind of data that Ark does. Minecraft is a calculator game compared to Ark.
Just making stuff up.. it doesn't make it true.
So are you saying only 1 of the two of you is having this problem or you both are? Because that splits the likely causes.. is the one without problems hosting the server for example?
Yes only one of us is having the problem
yes. But to be fair. i am not even sure thats the problem, because earlier I had a problem too, but that for some reason went away
