Why is this so difficult... Dedicated server hosting for PS5

Okay. I own TWO COPIES OF THE GAME. One on steam. and I also grabbed it for PS5 because frankly thats my preferred system. I wanna use my steam copy to host a dedicated server so I can play on PS5 with friends. I downloaded the tool on steam but I'm not a F*****g programmer so i aint doing all the file edit and crazy stuff that you "dont need and extra copy" for. I have an extra copy. But when I try to just host a dedicated server, it seems like the "work around needing a second copy" route is the only option. Am I missing something or is the unnecessarily complicated option the only one?

If you won't even edit text files you should probably just rent one from a company that hosts Ark servers.

No matter how easy a system is, you will end up editing text files and understand what you're doing as you do it. If that's too high of a bar to surpass: Rent from a pro who'll make you a nice GUI like Nitrado.

So were you able to run a dedicated server on your PC for PS5? I can't seem get the steam dedicated server to work properly

The first mistake was trying to do it on a PS5
