Could I run the game with a Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB Ram and a i5-8600K CPU?

AFAIK your GPU is below minimum recommendation, so I would not waste my money

The requirements list a 1080 as minimum, so even if you get it to run, it would not be pretty and probably very slow.
Considering the state the game is in (still many bugs, crashes and graphic glitches) I would say better wait....either until you have a better GPU, or until the game is more optimized at least.

I play with i7-7700 CPU, 16G ram and a GTX 1070. I can get between 25-45 FPS on med settings with textures on epic. When by water is when fps drop. I could turn off the clouds and get more fps but I like how they look. Think there is a way to turn off water reflection too.

There is no way to assure that my friend! Ive seen NASA pcs that could not run and ive seen rx 580 runing it on i5. i have a 3060 and a i9-9700 and i canot play asa without crashing. Itd the most crashable game i have ever seen. I never quit the game, i always crash the game

Good luck with those specs. I'm running i713700 with 32gb ddr5 RAM and Asus tuf z-790 pcie5 with Samsung 980 pro nvme topped off with a 3070 oc2.

CPU hits around 20% usage, ram around 43% but gpu is 99-200%. I verify files before every session as it only takes about 1:30 minutes. I turn off clouds, turn in vsync, run in windowed mode, lower grass and don't use any rtx settings. I also have textures set at epic, gets weird if lower and I start feeling queasy. It's about as stable as I'm going to get but would prefer to be able to turn settings to max. I'm getting around 60fps in general but drops to around 30-40 when in dense areas. One other thing I did was throttle my GPU slightly on power target, VRAM free and boost clock.

I like things to look great so I'm rarely playing at the moment until a lot of optimization is completed. I am just playing other EA games. Also hanging on until January as the new super GPUs come out for Nvidia so might drop prices of 4070ti and 4080. Will make do with one of those until the 5070/5080s hit in 2025

Look at all the posts like this to get a better idea of the issues and how people resolve them as well as how machines perform. For me I just buy sh1t and sit on it after an initial play through. 37 quid is nothing when you consider how much people are spending on GPUs.

In the end you have to make your own decision ........
