why cant i join my friends non dedicated server on console
the game is cross-play between Xbox and PC but i cant join their server

same. They can see and join my unofficial server, but when it comes to non dedicated server i (pc) cant see theirs (xbox) and they cant see ones that i host either.

no sorry every time i accepted a game invite from the Xbox app Microsoft store would tell me that i didn't have an app to copy the link with and would need to download one that simply doesn't exist

did they turn on cross-play on the server itself (this requires to be turned on in settings from the site)
