Cant join last session , how to find last server you played?

Unfortunately for now you have to remember the server name (just a few letters) and search for it. It'll show up. I have a lot of issues with my favorites being deleted, so I always search through the unofficial tab.

If you're lucky and your favorites haven't been reset, spamming refresh on the favorites tab will eventually show it. Unfortunately the server query list is only a couple of hundred servers so seeing the same server twice takes a few tries unless you search for it.

The lack of knowledge within these Steam forums blows my mind.

It is possible to see the last played server within the files of the game itself. You need to open the GameUserSettings.ini file: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini

Keep in mind your drive letter may be different (i.e. C:\) as well as the path, depending on how you installed the game. Most common is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame

Scroll down to LastJoinedSessionPerCategory

You can also see all of your saved servers here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\SaveGames\MenuPlayerLocalData.arkprofile.sav

agreed it always annoys me seeing the ♥♥♥♥♥ post something negative on a post asking for help ... and he it she thinks lack of knowledge blows their mind lol wonder how he was when it was Alpha and they were finding their way ..stupid you can't help

Hello I face a terrible issue since I bought the game day1 (after years of Ark 1): each time I join a multiplayergame, I play few hours, I exit, when i RELOG MY CHARACTER IS REMOVED, THE LAST SERVER PLAYED DOES NOT APPEAR and I have to restart all. In single player (so alone fine, all works and I keep my saves despites crashes etc. But in multiplayer all is erased systematically, so impossible to play more than one day long, the day after I have to restart a new character. Can someone help (without blowing his mind... ) PLEASE Chris

There's still an issue (not as bad at release) where your favorites/last server are forgotten. If you remember the name of the server, you can search for it and continue your game.

And after an update? What do you do then ?
