Achatina Snail not eating?

I tried feeding them berries and meat but they WONT eat! They are slowly starving, what do they eat after they are tamed? (Yes they are already tamed btw, I used the vegetable cakes to tame them)

Only cake, 1 piece refills 500 food stat of the snail. slow eaters like 1 a minute.
