Official servers require curseforge terms and conditions?

I came back after a week to log in to the server I have been on before, but now it looks like all official servers have mods? I now have to accept a ToS and have it create a curseforge account on my behalf?

Am I searching for servers incorrectly?

I guess its back to solo again. I really don't trust any code from users in this game. Perhaps other games, but not this one.

thats very weird. for me on official the mod was installed when i hit join server then everytime after it would go to mod screen and i just hit join. it had nothing to do with curseforge at all. it was all in game. i do already have curseforge installed for other games but official mod had nothing to do with it or any interaction with it at all

You probably just didnt realize but in order to use the mods/events it created a cureforge account for you using your steam id. I think its bs they make you do that.
