Automatic Unofficial Server Reboots

I am running an unofficial Ark Survival Ascended using Steamcdm. Is there any way to setup the server to automatically reboot the unofficial server daily at 7am?

I use the task planner of windows to do that. Every day at 10am the Server automatically starts the ServerStart.bat

You only have to make sure that your ServerStart.bat is able to kill the current session.

You can use Windows task scheduler to run a program for a set amount of time. I havent tried it but you could get it to start at the same time every day and shut down a minute or two before that time.so it closes the server, then starts it again.

I have my bat file taskkill /f /Im ArkAscendedServer.exe but is there any way to save before I taskkill?

Any chance I can see your bat file coding?

its much easier to just use a program like Windows GSM to manage your servers and its easy to copy you current save over to it too.

Unfortunately, it appears Ark: Survival Ascended is not supported by WindowsGSM, yet. Only Ark: Survival Evolved. So that's not very helpful at the moment.

Yeah, tell us how it works) I'm using WindowsGSM and its good enough for ASA also and it has auto restart shedule

I use task manager to reboot the server daily and start the bat files for the ark servers upon reboot. As a bonus, starting them with high privileges starts them as background processes that use far less resources. I can easily squeeze 8 maps on a 12 core 90 gb ram server this way. I also have a powershell script that registers the process and automatically starts it again if a server crashes. LMK if interested
