ps5 join issues

Anyone eles having cross play issues? i have a friend that plays on Ps5 linked on the nitrado server. after the last update the server no longer appears for them. i've tripled checked all of the settings on my end(server side) as well as to make sure they have the appropriate boxes check in their filter settings and still nothing. is there any fixes to this or is it a wait till wildcard releases another patch and hope it fixes things
