Bee hive not producing honey
Hey all. So, I tamed a bee about two days ago and in that time it was only produced 3 honey then stopped. Is this a bug or is it some weirdly long timer? I'm running my own Nitrado server and if it's a setting I'd like to change it. I've tried destroying my hive and replacing it but still nothing. Anyone else have this issue?

Got Rare flowers in the bee hive? They need that to function.

You have rare Flowers in it?

Yep, I've got a bunch in it. It randomly produced a few the other night so I'm guessing I'm just an impatient ♥♥♥♥♥ lol.

I'm having the same problem in my single player world. I put down 4 beehives in my base on day 73 each had 2 stacks of rare flowers in them, and right now I'm on day 143 and each hive has only produced 4 honey.
I've resorted to just breeding bears and putting them next to wild hives in the red woods to get honey.
I figured that they produce honey only when you are in render distance, and that slowly.

I hate to necro this thread however, I was also having this exact issue on my private unofficial server and there was no solution online. And I think I found the cure for unofficial servers. The server is hibernating when nobody is online, so nothing is being produced. Oil wells were also dry. Use a start parameter like,
-preventhibernation
And things should tick by 24/7. I noticed after months of playing, the days on the server were lower than they should be and it dawned on me. Anyway just throwing out a solution as they are hard to find.
