Murder Turkeys do not spawn...

I installed one of those dino finder mods and the Turkey Trial mod, as well. I can dinowipe the server as much as I want, but there NEVER spawn any Turkeys...
And yes, they are listed in the list from the dino finder mod, so an incorrect installation is not the problem.

How are your experiences with those nasty, invisible gooblers?

I've flown around and around in tek armor and found a total of one. I've spent about an hour searching.

They spawn anywhere dodos spawn, easiest is ofc a wild dino wipe and just fly around the beach.

I've done that at least 10 times. And: nothing
Seems like the spawn rates are absurdely low (at least for singleplayers).

I must have gotten lucky, ofc single player might be worse, maybe try with the nohibernation command line or something?

SP player here. I had some difficulties after installing the mod to find turkey, like 1 in 45min of search. I returned in my base between volcano and the east mountain. I have regulary 2/3 tutkey near my base, if not more (sometime attacking one agro anlther one i didn't see xD )

So, your base is in that valley between the volcano and the big mountain east of that? Where all the Argentavis etc. are flying around? I will check that region out.

Since this morning's post, I searched for around 45 minutes, and found *one* more. That's a total of two in almost two hours.

I got my random chibi, and I gave up. What a boring event that barely functions.

I hope Curseforge decides to add upvote/downvote. Because, frankly? Small community mods do more to affect my experience than this event.

I describe the event as: "Find small turkeys who are around where dodos are. They barely ever spawn, so good luck there. Shoot them, because they are protected from tamed dinosaurs. You'll have to shoot them for a long time while they do their absolute best to annoy you. Do this a bunch of times to get a t-shirt or chibi."

Do they have the same size as dodos? Or are they bigger?

They're pretty close to the size of a dodo. Perhaps slightly larger. Look for the fan-shaped tail if you're using the tek helmet.

The therizino bite does normal damage to murder turkeys. I've found a ton of them near green ob.

Oh, I didn't know that, theris are one of my favs. Also, yes, the second one I found was also near the green ob.

And another easy way to kill them, a giga, even a low level one do the job fast

I found one! At the beach in the northeast of the island. From where you can see carnivor island in the distance.
