tame capped on official servers
The question is, does no one plan for this when you put a limit of 70 players per server? Do they just put random players in to see what happens? Wouldn't it be better to lower the maximum number of players per server? It's amazing that this happens in the second version of the same game.

A week since I stopped playing this game, I just launched today to feed dinos and see if it's still capped, and it is. If nothing changes with cryos, I don't see the interest to continue playing.

Same here, 5414. We're in maintenance mode because hell if I know why.

All these new partnerships must have Wildcard forgetting about the one partnership that got it anywhere to begin with -- its partnership with us.

Cryos will change it. But what really needs to happen is for the breeders to kill their excess dinos and for quitting players to have their tames made available to others alot faster. 30 days is a joke.. expecting an entire server to wait that long.. player quits.. give them 3-4 days. Then delete everything. Maybe add in a little account notification "going on holiday will be back in 2 weeks" wouldn't be hard to do.

"So what the players need to do to fix the game's problem is --"

o_O

Come on, man.

The problem is not the players, it's that the developers haven't made the most basic and important calculation in their game, how many people and with how many dinosaurs can fit on a server?
This breaks the game completely and doesn't let you advance, and as always Wild card doesn't say anything, we don't even know if they will fix it or we won't be able to advance further in their game due to a basic design flaw.

The same mistakes over and over again. I love this game but the constant feeling that they are laughing at one is already starting to be exhausting. Not knowing if you will be able to play the game you have bought, not knowing if you will be able to enter the server, asking yourself which dinosaur will disappear today or which mechanics will not work properly. I don't approve of the threats and hatred directed at their creators but I understand all the people who are tired of swallowing and being patient and then new nonsense is announced that no one asks for instead of fixing what we already have. Please, enough is enough!

Let's go one further:

Why the hell does PvE need to have platform dinos/rafts count 19 against the cap if even one thing is built on it? If the issue is "because some fun person would tame their limit of platform dinos and build a bunch of mobile bases" then PlatformDinoLimit=15 or some ♥♥♥♥.

We got almost 200 slots sitting with just 9 dead rafts that people built day 1 and left when they found better servers.

That is quite arguably a design flaw.

I don't think this has a solution, I think the design of the base game is broken and the only thing that can be done is to reboot servers with these things thought out or maybe open new servers when the ea ends, as happened in evolved.

Hear! Hear! We need limits on bases/structures/tames per tribe. Let tribes have 1 land base, 1 tree platform, 1 raft and 1 underwater base and a cap on total structures to prevent all those Ftards from cluttering the map with pillars and/or foundations. As for dinos a cap on tames on the map of say 100. will make people think twice what they keep (at least until cryos come out)

I agree that there are limits on structures, dinos and more. But when you put out the game you're supposed to have calculated that, there are people who have 10 dinos and can't tame anymore. So now they depend on another tribe to kill their dinos?? So this isn't a huge design flaw and just bad players who tame a lot of dinosaurs and lay a lot of foundations??
