Tame Capped on Official PVE 5428

So at the start of an event where everyone breeds an tames.... No one can tame or breed b/c the server is hitting it tame cap. Thoughts? I'm at 90/250 tames for my tribe. Most people say they are close to the same.

Seems like fert eggs increase the tame cap.

Rafts count as tames as well. All those abandoned rafts lining the shore? There's your tame cap!
Oh and 5163 is tame capped as well....

The question is, does no one plan for this when you put a limit of 70 players per server? Do they just put random players in to see what happens? Wouldn't it be better to lower the maximum number of players per server? It's amazing that this happens in the second version of the same game.

The official servers should at the minimum support 17500 tamed dinos (70x250). I'm pretty sure they dont. Even with all the people that played for a day, tamed 5 dinos and left, with their dinos still alive to this day.
5187 is also capped since Saturday.

any word on them doing anything? the game isn't playable for anyone on official servers? this their way of letting xbox and ps5 servers catch up? what happens when they are all capped?
