B) Breed them(Yuti) and use Fertilized eggs for Kibble.
**Had to log out to double check but the Tool Tip text for Egg Laying Speed setting is BACKWARDS Higher = Slower egg laying. Set it to .75 or 1
they lay both fertilized and non-fertilized eggs when in render distance which is picked up by the oviraptor
Now it is not showing the egg symbol on nearby dinos. What the heck?
lowering the speed rather than increasing it fixed it. Thanks!
If you see any setting like LayEggIntervalMultiplier, that has the word Multiplier in it, be very careful when you read the description as the setting is often not intuitive. The description is "Scales the time between eggs are spawning / being laid. Higher number increases it (by percentage)." Larger number increases the time between eggs being laid, so you want a smaller interval to get them to lay eggs more often (to increase the number of eggs laid).
Technically, the setting is not backwards, but just how most people think of egg laying is backwards from how the setting works. The setting does not adjust the speed, it changes the interval. Smaller interval, speeds up egg laying.
