Anyone know of a resource to calculate food usage in breeding?
Like I'd like to know how many of each berry type the dino uses per second, minute etc.
If I put a stack of berries in, how long does it last depending on dino. If I have 5 stacks of meat.. how long that last.. how much will rot away..

It's kinda frustrating having to stand around waiting, but at the same time it feels more satisfying knowing you took hours to breed a dino.

You can work it out roughly in game now because the tracker tells you when the dino last ate.

Using that information you can calculate how many pieces of food the dino needs per minute and based on how much food it can hold in its inventory, you can work out how many minutes or hours of food the baby can hold in its inventory.

That's a rough calculation without considering baby growth (needing less food as it grows), and spoilage but for baby phase it's going to be pretty accurate and took me 5 minutes to build a spreadsheet for which I have tested many times with success.

Without considering the baby growth and the fact the dino has food and health stats which it will drain before dying, It's basically going to give you a very conservative number which is good as you definitely won't kill babies while afk or doing something else in game.

There was a website but it was already allegedly out of date when I discovered it a year or so ago. Seemed somewhat accurate though. "Crumplecorn"

What'd be better is a mod that puts that info in baby stats and nearby troughs.
