Server Feeding Trough Decay Timer?
Does someone know the setting for decay timer for feeding troughs? I play with family on a dedicated server, but we only play on weekends, so the animals starve during the week. I need to make it so that either feeding troughs massively slow the decay of food, or stop decay all together if there's no one online.

Turn the server off during the week. No decay.
SpoilTimeMultiplier (higher = slower as i recall. but double check..)
Or
Convert your meat into jerky,
also larger stack sizes (ItemStackSizeMultiplier) (downside is everything stacks larger too),
might have to make sure that one person can get on mid week to do a food run.

hope this helps, also these commands were pulled from the ASE server configs.
also a stack of raw meat (20) takes about 13.5 hours to decay in a trough. a full trough of raw meat still only takes .. 13.5 hours to decay as well, because it all rots at the same time rather than one stack at a time.
I'd use the AA mod. It adds a refrigerated trough (among other quality of life upgrades) that keeps food fresh for a year. After that, increase your stack sizes to 1000 or more, and you're good.

Thanks! Yeah I just increased our stack size multiplier to 100. I like that option best since it doesn't change how we play in game, and it still allows my other family members to play occasionally during the week without having to ask me to start the server.

If you change your spoil timer, get the meat spoiler mod or you'll have problems making narcotics.

to bypass that problem install a Toilet. 1 piece of Poo + unlimited Meat = instant spoiled meat.

Oh glad to see they fixed that problem finally.

just remember that multiplier should also affect things like wood and metal. the weight per item stays the same but a stack of 1k ore/metal still weighs 1k .. so keep that in mind (if berries or fiber suddenly get heavy ^,^)
Just up the stack multiplier setting to 5x so you get more time out of it
