No need for cages now. Don't put a single point into weight, and they will stay in place while on wander. They pick up poop faster than you can empty the fertilizer and oil. Also no need fora dedicated sh*t machine (Phiomia).
I wish the Oviraptors (just for the egg boost) and Snails would behave the same.
A quarter ceiling and wall can be used to keep the snails/dung/oviraptors in place while they are also on wander. make little stacking cubbyholes with a railing for a door.
A lvl 400 Oviraptor has 9000 Unreal-units, arround 30 Foundation range
A lvl 225 Dung Beatle has 5000 Unreal-units, arround 16 Foundation range
picture a cubbyhole style shoe rack.
or
take 2 half walls snap it to a foundation where you want to build (thats the back) and 3 more for the sides and a divider. the half ceiling makes the top of the lower cage and you just repeat as you go up *( for snails and dung beetles) ** use a railing for the door and you can just access the inv with out them getting out.
for the Oviraptor pick the spot you want to restrain it, snap a quarter ceiling into an existing foundation or ceiling (it does not break the original just over laps them) at your feet and guide the Ovi over or into that spot and use quarter walls to pen it in using the quarter ceiling below as the snap points.
