Single player / dedicated server with admin priv. What dino.
Assuming you are in single player, using 0 as your id should work.
That said, if you are in single player, the creature should either be wild, tamed to you or unclaimed. Creature name appearing yellow, green, or red respectively.
If the name is green it's already yours, and as you are setting imprint quality you either bred your own baby dino and claimed it or claimed a wild baby dino. Either way claiming the baby imprints it to you, so there should be no need to set imprinted player unless you created a 2nd player on the same map and are try to claim your previous character tames.
But one of the few that show up on Google instantly leads to this one.
Just giving a solution to those who possibly made the same mistake of accidentally imprinting on another person's dino and want to imprint it into someone else or to themselves. Since the older method with shorter numbers from ASE doesn't work.
As of January 8th. A solution that has worked.
You will need to be an Admin. Press ` (tilta) to bring up the command window.
Use the command: enablecheats PutYourAdminPasswordHere
Then use the command: cheat ListPlayers.
It should list "Name, SUPER LONG NUMBER".
The SUPER LONG number is used to set the imprint.
NOT the sample number on your implant in your inventory.
Type that long number into notepad or piece of paper.
Then use the command:
cheat SetImprintedPlayer "TribeBestFriend" 0000Super000Long000Code000000
The dino should now be imprinted to the person with the name you entered + their super long number. Also, be sure to jump on the dino to make sure it's no longer imprinted to yourself as well.
