You don’t have to copy or paste anything. If you’re doing it through Nitrado simply click on what mods you want to install and they will do so, same for in-game, click mods list and click on what mods you want to use
I would like to know the same thing. I'm not talking about using Nitrado server. I notice my unofficial server will download a file quick but when I go to the mods page my game downloads slowly. But they make the files downloadable on Curseforge but don't explain how to actually install them into your game. Some larger mods I would rather download from the site directly cause it's a whole lot quicker to download directly but I can't figure out how to install them.

Dog ...locate your Ark ASA install on your rig.. and unzip the Cursedforge mods to this dir
Shootergame/binaries/win64/shootergame/Mods,83374

Additionally there is also a folder called Modsuserdata as well in the last shootergame where the MODs folder is... inside this there is a folder called 83374 as well. There may be stuff from the MOd to install into this dir as well. YOU WOULD BE ADVISED to install any MODS by joining a server of your choice.. it will tell you that to proceed it will need such and such MODs to download. Should you be playing single player then the mods are a diffrent ball game but again you will need to choose, download then select which MODS you want to run.
You dont have access to the mod folder on nitrado host from what I remember.
From the Web Admin GUI, on the left panel you have a section to install mods with a mod browser that will do the job for you. You dont need to download zip.
And if your just playing single player just open the game and goto mods section and isntall from there.
No respectable human should be "paying" for a server when you can host one locally for free.

And none of these steps are needed......

You don't even need to download the curseforge zips.

You simply go to your server startup batch file and add -mods=#,#,# to it. Same line as the start ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ArkAscendedServer.exe aka don't hit enter and put it on a new line.
The # = the curseforge mods project ID on the mods page.

That's literally it, the server downloads & keeps the mod updated doing it that way too.
Clients joining just auto download the mods when it checks.

I know how to get the mods. But when you actually download and unzip them they are named not the mod number. I tried doing it for the update but it still makes me download it when I join the game. In which case I'm trying to download it faster. It downloads slow when your joining the game.
How do i get them to show up in game

I tried this, but my servers kept crashing shortly after startup when they had never had a problem before. So I removed the mod IDs from the server startup .bat and they worked just fine again. There's gotta be more to it or something I'm missing.
