I don't have time to do that right now, but it really looks terrible.
My rig is:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
32GB RAM
Win 10
I also experience constant crashes. But when the game runs, it runs fine, even with textures set on epic.
I do meet min requirements, so why would I be having these problems?
I do have constant crashing too even with my PC
I7 13700kf
rtx 4080
32gb ram
W11
We have to wait for a fix to those crashes. I'm pretty sure you are running out of VRAM since a 2060 only has 6GB of VRAM. Maybe the devs could probably optimize VRAM usage of the game but not sure. The only think really would be running textures on medium, i know that doesn't help making textures look better but 6GB is sadly not enough. The rest of your system looks fine. You should consider upgrading your gpu at some point (hoping the gpu market gets better as it just garbage right now)
Yea, guess I need at least 8GB for the GPU. Else my rig is absolutely fine, I can run any other game without problems.
Any recommendtations GPU wise? Have been looking into some RTX variants, but not sure which are good quality.
i only have amd 6750xt i think they use more vram than nvidia but still its pretty much on mid settings
I would totaly avoid 4060/4060ti, they are barely faster than thier predecessor 3060/3060 ti and sometimes even slower (yes they somehow managed to do that). The RTX 4070 is really the best choice in the 40 series lineup, its not great as its msrp is higher than the last gen.
Otherwise there is AMD but i'm not too familiar with AMD. A friend of mine recently bought a 6650xt and is happy with it but really that's all i know.
Its a bit more, yes. I have a RTX 3070, textures on medium. Around 6,9-7,1 GB VRAM usage
4070 is about the same price like 7800xt i think more or less and the 7800xt should have more power
yeah i think amd gpus are slower than nvidia i hope they bring fsr into the game x.x xD
There are different kinds of crashes. If you get "Device Removed" / "Device Hung"- errors, that means your GPU ran at 100% and couldn't take it.
I'm running the game on a GTX 2070 and I have to go medium-high settings, maxnanitesperedge = 4, globalillumination 0.
I can leave volumetric clouds on with that settings, but performance is better without, so with a graphics card one tier lower you probably want to turn that off too.
Access violation crashes during inventory interactions are a different story though. I think that's an error form the game itself with no fix clientside.
It seems the RTX 4060 and 4060 TI have the least power consumption, so both would be an option without upgrading my power supply.
All the 30 series seems to need more than 600 Wats
Yea, that's not what's recommended, above 160W consumption you should have PSU of 550W+
220W is a lot already.
Depends on your CPU TDP usage, and of course the other parts. 220W is quite high, but you have to reach that first.
But if you want to upgrade, 3000 series is a meh choice anyway, if you dont go for atleast 3080. Raw power is maybe a bit better, but something like 4070 Ti is far superior if it can use better DLSS and Frame Generation.
Idk whats your financial situation and your plan. But why staying on a 500W PSU? Because in the long term, getting a better PSU and a 4070 (/ 4070 Ti) is a better investment. Raw power wise the 4060 Ti is on the same level like my 3070. The only plus is the better DLSS, Frame Generation (if they are available in the game) and the possibility to go for 16 GB VRAM (which makes no sense for me because the card will struggle anyway in the future games).
