Hunting Cnidaria
I've been having a hard time finding a good amount of Cnidaria to harvest. The shock darts are really useful and I want to find as much bio toxin as possible.

Curious if anyone knows a good spot? I'm guessing there probably isn't one, but I thought I'd ask.

Get a mosa and travel around the map. That's really my best advice.

I'll definitely get a Mosa. Those are my favorite Dino. After I tame one, i'll look around :)

In Evolved they used to be literally everywhere - oppressively so because they'd easily kill most mounts. That said, it was very easy to get Bio Toxin because they were so easy to find.

Now it's far more precious because in Ascended they seem quite rare. They seem to spawn on the sides of cliffs. Watch for the very bright white glow as you will spot that well before you see them.

However, your best bet is to get a Basilosaurus and go through the Caverns of Lost Faith in the western portion of the map. That has a fair number inside - far more than you'll quickly find in the wild. I've also found they tend to spawn outside the entrance as well.
I live in Cave of Lost Hope, I have around 60 mosas, tusos, and megs (mostly megs) set to follow a few basi anchors that keep the cave system free from creatures and raiders. This is how I get my Bio-toxin.

Every other day I collect the loot from these creatures and have more bio-toxin, angler gel, and chitin, than I know what to do with, and the extra pearls (both kinds), and oil are a nice bonus.

If you do not live in the cave, and the cave is not claimed, you can farm the cave using a basi as a mobile anchor with 8-12 high level megs following, using whistle to attack.

I've been in that cavern several times and I haven't seen any Cnidarias. Megalodons, Mosasaurs, the electric eels, the piranhas, loads of angler fish, but no Cnidarias.
