How horrible is your nitrado service?

I am not a defender and friend of nitrado. However, it has to be said that it is and remains a fact, and it won't get any better with the constant nitrado bashing.

Once the much-praised number 1 tries to pull the market in its direction with exclusive deals, the number 2 has to do something about it.

I think we all agree that competition would be fairer.

I downgraded to 4 slots without any warning, but not let me start server got message request 20 slots for server , I already paid 20 slots for whole year, then I change back to 20 slots they want change me $186 for it??????

Bought this machine for ~$100

Stresstested at max almost 60 players, had to pull out people from several discord servers but it happen at one time. Everyone still managed ping around 40-50 ms, server had over 90% RAM used, and over 70% CPU used. No crashes etc.

Guess yourself. Craptrado with their stupid ass corrupted CEO or spend 100 bucks and host it yourself.

I purchased a month as prepaid so i wouldn't be on subscription because i remember that being annoying to cancel (you have to open a ticket and it takes awhile for them to actually cancel it if they do at all) and have yet to be able to find my server on the unofficial server list as of yet. This was Friday or Saturday. =( I just want to play on a server that runs even when I'm not playing that i can choose mods and rates but so far no bueno.

You can turn off auto extension any time from you services tab. Also don't look for the server in the list, use the search function and you'll find it, just put the number in the search (if you have left the nitrado server as a default name)

Tbh I think G Portal is generally better, but nitrado has better tech assistance, better setup, Gportal has awful customer server.. germans.. nitrado helped me out alot, were very patient with me. Haven't tried any other servers. For the run of the mill, I think it's probably just down to random potluck who you get reply to you, either service is about the same overall.

GPortal still keeps sending me server info in german.. I don't read german, I've emailed them dozens of times asking them to stop or at least send the info in english, they reply in german.. it's dumbfounding... their price rates are ok. But I don't speak or read/write in german and can't be bothered using translators.

Had 2 servers, 20 slots, Both run fine with 20 to 30 mods running, no issues what so ever.. this was only 5 to 10 people playing mind you but still smooth with the odd warning about it slowing down but never noticed anything..

I'm not having any nitrado based issues and haven't had any since day 1. Of course, I only play single player games, so might explain it 😃

Yeah, i meant my game cant find the server when searching for it. Tried switching to a different host location to see if that was an issue with there it was at originally but no luck. I'm not sure what's going on with it since i have even reinstalled it back to default everything and it still does not come up in the search. I can see other nitrado servers but not mine.

I play on a Nitrado un-official, its pretty bad to be fair, I dont get much rubber banding but dinos take 10-20 seconds to follow you when you whistle them, and when your flying past a base or flying into your own it constantly just stutters stops dead and starts again while it loads in the base, even on m.2 SSD.

Really puts me off playing, just turned it off now after a rex took 20 secs to follow, not sure if il turn it back on to be fair.

with my SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB GDDR5 Graphic Card i set on loading screen to get on any server and for 5 hours it just says loading but i can play single player with the ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon™ RX 7600 XT OC Edition 16GB GDDR6 no change only can play single player any one have any ideas how to get on a server??

Used it for A:SE back then, thought the service was normal.

Until A:SA when I got turned off by the $30+ a month fee and decided to upgrade (just the RAM to 64) and use my wife's office PC, difference was like night and day.

Just Starting/Restarting the server took more than 5minutes, sometimes more, on the nitrado server. It takes less than a minute on the office PC, and that's while I'm running a conan exiles server parallel to the A:SA one. Hell, restarting the nitrado servers sometimes gets it stuck and we'll have to wait for like 2 hours or so just to get it unstuck on that restart.

this thread would be MUCH more viable if you copied and pasted it over to Nitrado then reported them to the BBB with proper proof.
