How to boost honey production in SP?
Is there a way (or mod) that allows tamed bee hives to produce more than 1 honey per each 45 min? In singleplayer mode.

I don't think there are any ini settings, perhaps a mod, for me though the answer was just to create more hives. 9 hives will get you a honey every 5 mins.

Mkay. I didn't want to spam my base with hives. But probably that's the only way. Thanks for your advise.

Have you tried increasing crop growth speed?

You should be fine with 4 hives. I have more than enough honey for ~20 achatinas.

20 Achatinas? Wow!

I tamed another 3 Bee Queens today so that I got 4 hives now. Will have to see how this works out.

But what I found strange is that I receive damage when opening the hives even when I'm wearing full Ghillie suit. Has this been changed since ASE?

I'm 99% sure that it was always that way, though, a feature of the S+ Hives was that they wouldn't.

I think was Damage over Time plus initial sting with no armour, just the initial sting with Ghillie and Hazmat Suits that stop even the sting.

I used bug repellent and it worked for collecting honey without damage so it may be you just have to use some of that now instead of ghille but idk.

I've been wearing full ghille and harvesting the honey while prone. No stings.
