Gigas and Carchas not showing on your game? Here is the reason

Gigas and Carchas are spawning inside the walls and unless you ghost and kill them, they wont die and respawn

I have had 2 spawn inside the wall at lava mountain (on the inner side near the cave entrance) and I could aggro them to make them get out. The others have spawned outside. I am not sure if the one in your image could have been dragged out or not but it looks possible.

I killed / tamed gigas too fast in my playthrough so I though the spawning bugged, I think there is a chance of 1 spawning every 4.5 hours (not 100%, I had no spawn for more than 12 hours) and multiple can be up at once (so at the start I had quite many of them since I had done other things while they spawned then when I could "farm" them they quickly ran out and it felt like something was wrong but I don't think it was, although I ran out of quetz also which was weird and 6 quetz spawned instantly when I restarted the game).

A cheat that can be used to find location of gigas/carchas is: (maybe a bit cheaty to use it but nice to not have to fly to the mountains over and over again just to see if they are up)

Have you misspelled them or are you trying to use both at the same time?
You can copy/paste the commands, they work, it is 2 commands and you have to do 1 at a time.

Did for me too, took running the game for 20 hours straight before they returned and that not wise with current state of SP

Oh! So they are returning One day! Good to know, I'll wait ;) (wildcard fix dinos spawning bug in SP, maybe giga will Spawn in less than 20 hours...)

Doesn't wild dino wipe work in ASA? Everyone should be wiping wild dinos at the start of every playing session to rebalance the spawns and kill stuff in walls.

Oh the dinos go yes, issue is the re-spawning

I think it is ~4.5 hours before giga/carcha has a chance to spawn (idk, 50% or something) so if you destroy wild dinos now and then it might cause you to not have any spawns. Not sure if this can be your issues.

I have them spawning now and then but it takes a long time, idk how long maybe 10 hours between each spawn, at the start I had mostly gigas but now I have had mostly carcha.

Takes them less than 1 hour maybe like 20mins or 15. Definitely not 4 to 5 hours lol
