[Mod Idea] Solar Panels & High Voltage Batteries

Would be cool if you could get some amount of energy from the sun to power certain devices. There should also be some way to store excess generated power such as some kind of high-voltage battery.

There could be flat solar panels that can be placed on the floor and slanted roofs, and angled solar panels that can be placed on the ground.

There were some very good solar power and wind turbine mods in Ark, and I'd love to see at least one mod for this version.

How does this sound like Space Engineers? There are Minecraft mods that predate SE that have solar panels and high-voltage batteries.. I believe Industrial Craft back in the classic Tekkit days had such.

Wow, I also loved Industrial Craft in Minecraft too. There was a fantastic Steampunk-flavoured engineering mod (I forget the name) that had waterwheels, copper wiring strung between telegraph poles to reach buildings and so on... I'm tempted to start the game up again after quite a few years!
