Why no glass?!?!????

We have been using greenhouse glass as stand-in windows for the life of the game. S+ added glass to the PC game that FINALLY looked like what you would expect glass to look like. Now, the game includes some QoL improvements from the S+ mod, but have gone backwards with the in-game glass. Not to mention that we can't overlap two different types of wall, so we are stuck using the greenhouse wall as it is, or having to pretend a greenhouse door is a window. ...Sad.
What is the deal?! Just give us NORMAL glass!!! Why does any of us even have to ask this of you?!? Why is this not just a thing???

you can always add modded glass when it comes out on Unofficial.

Haven't gotten to that stage, may I ask the difference? I had always assumed that the idea was to make the glass slightly less advanced, which in terms of glass making means blurrier and less uniform and thicker.

I certainly will be when a mod comes out for it. Just a shame that when incorporating the S+ mod into the vanilla game that they wouldn't add some actual glass as well.

I would be happy with that. But i also think there should be different tiers of glass. A large part of the game for so many is base building. Why not accommodate that crowd? I also push back on things they omit from the game for PvP sake. there is literally a setting that can be checked for these things. Wouldn't be anything for them to tie a function within the game to having that setting selected.

I totally agree!! At least an opaque setting so you can't see through it.
