Split-Screen inventory/toolbar/creature commands controller issue

Hey, are there any other split-screen players here?

Are you guys having the glitch where you can't hold LB and use the right side of your tool bar?

Me and my sister are playing and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.
Kind of limits you to the first 4 slots on the toolbar which is not many for this type of game.

Also having one where opening the inventory also whistles dinos.
Super annoying when you just want them to sit.

I feel like either of these is gonna get us gobbled up by a dino one day.
They didn't have these issues on PS4 Survival Evolved, when I played years ago.

how to start splitscreen? i have been wanting to know

Me and my brother are having the same issue. Not sure how to fully fix it however it seems to start when opening inventory and a way to fix it is open the map then close it, seems to fix it until you open a inventory again, the whistling dino part im not sure about i would assume that maybe the button is being held too long since holding the button opens the whistle menu

Start Undedicated.
Plug in two controllers and press start on either of them.
You have to play with two controllers, can't have 1 keyboard/1controller.

I'll try that map thing next time and see if I can change that button to something else, if you can in this game. Thank you for the reply

I just bought the game for me and my wife to split screen we can’t access half our inventory or craft while split screen has anyone found a fix it’s literally making the game unplayable.

Any updates on split screen? I had to disable the HUDs from both to stop them flickering, and our controllers can't access the left two columns of our inventory. It just hits a 'wall' when trying to move the cursor to the left (or right on the other side).

Ok. So a higher resolution solved my controller accessing the entire inventory in split screen. Still have the flickering HUD issue in split screen though.
