Can't use weapons while riding any dino ??

I am renting a server from nitrado, and having it on PVE does that make it not possible to use weapons while riding any dino ? because I see videos of people riding like a trike and use weapons, and yet I can't :/

It's the same as the original game. You need a mod to do it.

ok, but I can't use guns on any tame. in ASE most ground tames ppl was able to use guns while riding. but so far I have not been able to use guns on any tame does not matter what tame it is... so was wondering if it was a setting broblem on the server, maybe I need to turn it in to a Pvp ?

It seems very arbitrary on what dinos you can use a weapon on and which ones you can't. Maybe I'm just not understanding the reasoning of the design.
It would be nice to have access to tranqs, bows and guns on all of them:)
