My personal favourite was clearly Fjordur. I don't know why, but something clicked inside me, when I played this map for the first time. Maybe because it's got a part of it's ocean in the middle, not only on the sides, like lame "the Island" has.
And Fjordhawks were pretty cool, too!
My preferred maps are Ragnarok and Aberration! I find Scorched Earth okay; I do enjoy the Wyverns and Mantis, but, personally, it doesn't hold my interest for the long term. Typically, I spend around 30-40 hours playing on it and then move on. However, if Wildcard manages to release all DLCs within 2-3 month intervals, we'll likely have an abundance of content soon! :)
Scorched earth just felt better, I was more involved with my decisions. It had a better difficulty to it. The island just seemed like a sandbox to mess around in whereas the map with actual sand everywhere had me more engaged. Just my opinion. I can't wait to see scorched earth in asa.
I also liked the center. Ragnorak was good but just felt a bit .... Meh.
