Biotoxin help

I've been trying to harvest some biotoxin, but I couldn't do so when using Ichty and an axe. The corpse just disappears and nothing drops. Does anyone know something about this?

I'm looking for the same.

I've read and watched videos that recommend finding a patch of the red mushrooms in the red forest. You can then harvesting them with a bronco for an obscene amount of biotoxin, but have yet to find any mushrooms in the red forest to try it with.

I used to get a lot from those red mushrooms but that was only on the Lost Island map, Abberation and maps with abberant caves can have the mushrooms also but I'm not sure they were ever on the Island map.

Harvesting the jelly fish was the main way on the Island, easiest with a basil cause they don't get shocked but killing them from a raft with ranged attacked works ok. Can get a lot if you harvest with a chainsaw but axe should work?

I don't know if this can be called a solution, but after installing No Untamables mod, I was able to harvest biotoxin without any problems.

OMG... It wasn't glitching at all,,, All the previous biotoxins were harvested by the otter I had on my neck,,,
