Lamp Posts turn off whenever i get 10 meters away from them

If i walk away 10 meters of a lamp post it will stop emitting light, and when i get close there is a really long mini-delay to light up again.

In Evolved they stayed lighted up regardless of the range. Only if you got out of render distance they would turn off. Is this a bug?

Sounds like something at your end. My electric lights are fine and you're the only person I've seen mention the problem.

Not sure about this as there are thousands upon thousands of players right now so we can't really know if it's a only me problem. Thanks for answering though

it's not an only you issue, I have this too I do not have mine all set to epic, however. It does not really impact my game play just makes me go huh did I flip them off?

This ♥♥♥♥ is annoying. It’s happening to me and others in my tribe. It’s like having spotlights all over your base. Makes bases at night look so dull from afar too.

I'm also having this problem; it seems to be related to how many lamps you have turned on.
You can see the lamp is still on, but it doesn't fill the room with light until you get closer.

Have the same thing with torches aswell.
Tbh, I assumed it's either because of my settings beeing all on medium or simply a Single Player thing.
Since it's nothing gamebreaking it's not bothering me.

the lamps on my train stop emitting light and I have to pick them up and re place them to get them working, seems like a similar if not the same bug.

It's happening on our server too. We were joking that it's Wildcard trying to learn how to optimize the lights finally. They're just doing it in the worst way possible. I would love to know if it's just a bug and there's actually a fix for it.
