"Login failures" after game crash

My wife's SP game crashed yesterday with the same error message I've seen before.
When it was restarted though, I thought at first the stack mod had failed to load,
but the issue was worse than that.
This "Login Failure" message flashed on the screen for a second...
& there was no listings at all in the new mods or Join servers sections.
I uninstalled the game, deleted the folder,
then downloaded & re-installed
but same issue - "Login fail" & no servers or mod list.

How do I fix this??

I've relogged several times, same issue. Might need to sign out of Steam, reboot computer and then relog in Steam. I'll brb for an update.

Go to the games list on Steam. Right click on the game. Manage menu, uncheck "Mark as private". it worked for me

Did not work for me. Neither did signing out of steam and/or verifying game files.

This issue resolves itself, it's entirely a world server wildcard issue.

yeah... i'm able to sign into the game at least but now every non offical server shows required mods blank but "total mods on server 666, mods to purchase 666, download size 666mb available space 666GB"

Go to your mod list and uninstall them... then reconnect to the server.

pessoal eu tava com esse problema também e fiz tudo que voces indicaram mas nada resolveu, foi então que eu atualizei os drivers da minha placa de video e deu certo voltou ao normal

I installed a VPN and it solved the issue in its entirety.
