BUT, they do run away when they are about to go down, they way smarter when it comes to getting to you, i'd say they now run a bit around untill they see a better path. i take this ai over the old ai any time of day.
Everything else is still exactly the same, fighting dinos is easier now because their attack patterns allow you to dodge bites with ease. You can take raptors down with literally nothing from the get go
I expected herds and packs, proper dino ai, the trailer even gave false hope of this but nope. Still the same randomly scattered dumb dinosaurs everywhere
trailer also showed wild baby argys, but nope, once again lied to by wildcard
Tamed dinos still run straight at you and often get stuck. Wild dinos still do that weird "run away then run at you" which as from ASE. Birds stop flying mid air for a few seconds. You can still cheese dinos by running in small circles. Wild dinos still run straight at you at first, wait a bit, then try to path find after 15 seconds of realizing they cant get you. Flyers still have the exact same pathing and try to land in the water... Amazing.
EDIT: forgot to mention dinos on follow get stuck on each other AND still run into you. Really good stuff. Improved AI, SnailGames solved AI.
Nope, wildcard compiled the trailer, wildcard did the promotion. Snail games just own wildcard that's all
my source is the wildcard staff promoting the game directly from their personal social accounts, i just assumed the trailer was also compiled by them. They definitely handled most of the promotion though
Edit: I can't find any solid info on who created the trailer, but most of the search results give wildcard the credit
