I played for about 4k hours and saw it time and again.
I imagine it'll be a thing this go.
On the upside, there's a company that has developed (and started to roll out this year) an AI cheat detection. It's so advanced that it can create a sort of 'fingerprint' of micro-mannerisms and behaviour allowing it to detect a known cheater even playing on a different system/account/VPN. It can analyse retroactively or in real-time. So the tech is now there to truly permaban cheaters.
You can checkout Basically Homeless's video on YT if you like, 'Saving FPS Games - AI Anti-Cheat.' It won't help you right now, but might at least give you some hope for the future.
