I have i5-12400F and RTX 3060 Ti, is it worth buying?

Yes, admittedly games a tad buggy but the map feels different,theres more ingame stuff now. Feels and plays great

I only have a 1080 and although I can't play on max the game runs fine.

wouldnt recommend to play this remake, which is obviously a better version of ASE but still a buggy mess with flickering light effects, the game is so horrible optimized so youll need a 4070ti atleast to run this game in high/ultra on 60fps

My specs are 3060 i5-12400F.
Playing on a 1440p screen right now with 55-58fps.
Also i underclocked my pc in a way that it doesnt heat too much (not above 75c) so that reduces my cpu power further down

I don't have many buildings or dinos yet so things may get ugly later BUT
nearly all settings are on either Epic or High rn

DLCC quality
Adv Graphics HIGH
Texture EPIC
Shadows HIGH
GIQ has to be on low or shadows bug out

Don't listen to people here complaining about performance buy it set the settings as i said above and try for yourself you can get refund worst case.

That said there are indeed many crashes, i played about 9h and got 1 crash already

Edit: add this as your launch options -preventhibernation -USEALLAVAILABLECORES

if you like ARK in general i would suggest you to play the regular ark a bit more and watch back in 1 or 2 months once they did a lot of updates like fixing tethering. u cant play with friends because they get teleported once they are more away then 270 meters. there are many things which needs to get fixed. but if u want to buy the game to support the devs sure. even if they are rich already.

No, its a low end PC that will struggle with games like this. If i was on a budget, i would at least get a i5-13400F with a 4060ti

The only one talking nonsense is you, these are low end specs, that much is a fact. There are people struggling with 2080Ti Gpus, even 4070 Gpus.

You are not runing the game as intented if thats the case.

Im playing on medium-high setting on a RTX 3060Ti as well (just running with the optimal settings that nvidia suggested for ASA) and it runs quite well with 60fps. Only thing is the fps drop when you start flying, but as someone else mentioned if you toggle the big clouds off (with r.VolumetricCloud 0) you should be fine to fly at 60fps instead of 40fps.
But the crashing is still a problem. Sometimes i can play for hours without a single crash and other times i get 4 crashes in 20 minutes. Hope they fix that soon.

All in all im having a lot of fun with the new building system, dinos and the QOL changes.

i play with a 3060ti i cap the fps to 30 and put everything on high and pos proccesing on medium effect medium distance medium and foliage medium it work for me i also have a toon of browser tabs open also watching a stream and playing a serie on other monitor i play on 30fps caps because i like the graphics and find that playing with the console command that people post is not the way is intended to play worth noting is i play on a 1080p monitor if i had a 4k or 2k one i would get e better graphic card thats the reality alot here dont get

AMD 7900X3D and 4070Ti all maxed 1440P/2K ...about 90-100fps temperature lover then 60 celsius both.
sometimes got random crash 1 per 2 hours....(if I set Global Illumination on low then no crash, but game looks worse)

I did not specify the monitor, resolution 1920x1200
