Mods Re-update/download/install on every login

I have 5 mods installed on my server, all working perfectly fine.

HOWEVER, every time i log in, one of those at random decide they need to be Updated, so it doesn't let me join the server at all, then once its updated i try to join my server and it has me Download the mod again, and then once it's downloaded i have to wait to Install it.

i have to follow this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cycle every single time i log in, and since the game is prone to crashing every now and then, this happens A LOT.

Anyone else experience this crap?

Same exact thing happening here! takes forever, really sucks.

i may have found a fix. 2 steps, 2nd may not be needed but doesn't hurt

1- make sure you do not have ASE installed at all.
When you join a server if finds the 1st instance of ARK to verify mod data
> it finds original ARK
> notices that the mods are wrong so the game proceeds to go through the steps for updating/installing
> these are saved correctly to ASA
> since its part of the same server request instance, once you are done downloading it joins the server as intended
> if you try to rejoin the server, it goes through the same cycle all over again

2- purge your mods folders.
Can be found: [yourdrivehere]:\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame
Once you get to this dir, it will contain Mods and ModUserData.
Delete the contents of both.

Hope this helps, as it's been working consistently for me :)
