Bees are bugged

i cant give them flowers. i have Ghillie and bug repellant but the small bees are hitting me / killing me while i am not able to give the Bee Queen some flowers. can you pls fix this asap

Worked for two of us yesterday.
I assume it's like ASE, that if you get agro from the queen at any point you're better of looking for another bee.

In Ark I got irritated by bees behaving or not apparently on a whim of their own so I always used a hive from the S+ mod. There's a mod for beehives if that's a solution for you in the meantime.

Yeah I miss those as well.
What I did to tame yesterday was basically just rush the bee with bug reppelant and spammed E.

Tamed two now with no issue, even after agroing. Prob a dumb question but are you crouching/crawling up to it?

I had the same issue .Try third person it worked that way for me .

We've tried several different methods and failed every time.

(Ghillie, bug repellant, prone, crouching, bear, 3rd person, hut around the hive blah blah blah...)

So what's the consensus? Are bees bugged or not?

It is working the same as always as far as I can tell.

Saw a video that pretty much explains exactly how this works. The queen will aggro after a few seconds when you get within a certain distance (around 5 foundations away). When the queen aggros, it sends out the drones to attack anything near. The drones die off a few seconds later.

So it is really simple. No crouching, no potion really needed, but a ghillie suit is a good idea as it lets you get closer before she aggros). Once you get the queen out of the hive (a bear is a good way to attack, but other methods work). Wait until she is alone and run up as fast as you can and press E when prompted with the rare flower in the 0 slot.

Once you get the timing down, you can tame one pretty quick. You miss the timing, you get attacked by drones. it is that simple.

You can not tame the queen once she aggros, but just wait for all the drones to die and try again if you fail on the first attempt. It won't stay aggro'd all that long.

Simple Kibble does NOT work. I play ASA on Xbox. You don’t even get the option to tame using that.

I dunno I got 5 hives myself, exceptional kibble one shot. sprint and spam e with sword in hand just in case
