Do u know what ur Dino stats are on the higher lvl one?
I also suggest to **not** level weight for Ovi or Dung beetle. This may sound counterintuitive, cause your dino can't carry more eggs/dung... But their pickup abilities ignore the weight stat and pick up items until their inventory is full (item-wise, not weight).
However, to get the full benefit of both pets, you need to set them to wander (dung beetle for the fertilizer and Ovi for the egg speedup). Putting stone (or anything else) in their inventory until they're overweight will prevent them from actually wandering around, but still give their wandering benefits.
And the range totally depends on the lvl, a lvl 400 Ovi has 9000 Unreal-units, thats like 30 Foundations
Thats true! Ty
Its egg laying boost range is fixed.
It needs to wander for egg boost.
Doesnt need to wander for egg collection.
Ovi's and Dung beetles no longer need to be caged.
They will overencumber themselves very quickly and stay nicely put.
This is only an issue when you need to move them, or mate with them.
Having a high level ovi collecting unfertilized eggs for your whole base, and then some low-mid level ones collecting fertilized eggs from your breeders. if you use low/mid level for this, you can keep your breeding egg operation organized, with 1 ovirapter dedicated to each line.
