Taming speed multiplier on ASA not working.

Hello everyone, I manage my own ASA server that runs on my own machine. I am not hosting through Nitrado, or any other site. I understand that some server settings are different for the new game, and some are the same. There is still no complete guide on what works and what doesnt. My current issue is that when I add the line "TamingSpeedMultiplier=x" to gameusersettings.ini and hit save, it disappears when I relaunch the server, and the setting does not take effect. This happens no matter how long I wait in between server starts. Is this one of the settings that has to be done a different way? Any help would be appreciated.

Taming, mating, hatching and maturation speeds all seem to be buggy for me.

make sure you hit save before exiting out of the ini

All working ok for me on my server, make sure your making the changes whilst the server is not running.

how are u managing to self host the server? thought that was axed.

Was the server running while you edited the .ini file? The server always writes back its current configuration to those file when it shuts down, overwriting all edits made. You must shutdown the server prior to any edits.

similar problem with my own private steamcmd server is settings such as baby imprint intervals, hatch speed, mature speed, even with all settings saved properly in GameUserSettings.ini it doesn't take any effect. Other settings like max dino level to level 150 works just fine. Now I'm completely clueless as to why some settings work and some don't.

Safe Shutdown the server (cheat doexit) then modify the ini file and ctrl+s to save

I am managing it through SteamCMD. It seems to work almost the same as Ark:SE, minus a few differences.

This ended up being the issue. I was trying to modify the ini before closing the server, then doing a restart.

I have noticed that with some other settings as well.

Some settings moved from gameusersettings.ini in ASE to game.ini in ASA, in ASE workshop in the collections category you can find some inis for ASA so you copy and edit the settings

hey dude , I may have found a solution, I guess it is because the server is in effect but the personal configuration cache is causing the problem.
So I deleted everything under the following directories (remembering to back up of course):
[ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\LocalProfiles]
I then logged into my test server again and everything was running at my latest settings.

I had the same problem. I solved it by removing the -UseDynamicConfig start option.
