Can't find Kairuku

I've been looking on all the glaciers, shores, and anything blue, but I can't find any Kairuku. Is there a setting I need on, have they not added them yet, or do I need to wait for them to spawn in?

Look on the edges of the outer icebergs.

In my single player they only spawn on the cliffs above the sea ice. I've not seen a single one spawn on the sea ice. Just fly above the cliffs and listen for a donkey bray. They get eaten really quick by wolves, carnos etc. so you have to be quick to protect them/pick them up.

This has been my experience in single player as well, it's the only place i have seen one.....once.

I've just checked my SP and it seems to be the same way. If this is a change specifically for SP, it's dumb. If this is a change in general, it's still dumb as that isn't where a "penguin" type creature would be anyway...

This sucks so hard. Considering the insane amount of stupid wolves, sabers and what not on the cliffs, I will never see one single Penguin.

I seen them at the iceberg/island at the very top northwest corner of the map (Almost at map barrier). I see TONS there on dedi server.

Spent 2 hours after killing 4 of the buggers.... i just gave up. So dumb. Even tamed a Pelagornis to farm them.... useless birds other than that.

The next penguins I find I will tame instead of killing and breed my own poly army ^^

Same here, tamed two to have one imprinted, got a nice bird but no penguin

Cliffs above little snow cave is only place I have seen them, but I had to boost dino count to get them to spawn, mine @ 5, others have had some luck as the ARK spawner is a bit of RNG as to what spawns where & when

easy to find if youre quick enough to get to the ice biome
why you cant find many or none is easy to explain, they die so fast by the other spawns, and if you have the additions mods active the kairuku very rarely spawn because the mods messes up the spaning order of every spawn on the map and thats why it skips the penguin spawns many times in favor for the additional modded dinos
