Controlling Tamed Dinos

Looking for a guide on how to control my tamed dinos. When the game isn't crashing on me, I'm having trouble with how to best control and use my tamed dinos. If there is a good guide on what I can do while mounted and what I can do unmounted and using whistle commands. Something that give details on all the different behavior settings too.

There are a number of scenarios I'm trying to figure out, but the primary one is how to prevent tamed dinos from attacking a wild dino that I have used a bola on. Currently I just park the tamed dinos away from my target wild dino so they don't go in and kill it after using a bola or tranq arrows.

For that scenario whistle your dinos to passive that will make then pacifists even if they're getting attacked.

I'd recommend taking a look at the keybind settings and changing them to things you find intuitive (I've got my aggression level whistles on my num pad, for example). Towards the end of the list is where most of the whistle commands are, and they're pretty self explanatory. If you've got a gaming mouse, adding things like 'attack this target' and 'go to this spot' to your extra buttons is super helpful and lets you command them without removing your hands from your standard position (great for combat situations).
