I am in a solo game, no server.
Yes but meat should works
Thanks, gl hf all ;)
Yes, there are some nice mods out there with better narcotic arrows and a food you can make the dino eat that drops their food to zero so they can be tamed quickly.
Have you changed the dino food consumption rate? if you drop the rate too low they will take hours to eat the first bite ..
even if the tame rate is super high if they cant eat, if the food stat does not drop .. you will never be able to tame it.
*edit: custom settings> Game Rules>Creature> Food Drain 1 or higher
re-enable it from the game settings.
Same problem. Just put meat in inventory and force feed Narco Berries when needed. My tame bar never left 0%, but the Pterandon tamed up just fine. I think it's a glitch in the game as far as the tame progress bar.
That glitch happens when you manually track the tame in progress (for me mostly bc I didn't put food in it yet). The icon won't update then. It works just fine when the marker in auto-enabled by putting food in inventory.
I just put meat in so it could feed itself. It didn't eat anything but the narco berries I force fed it when torp was getting low. The tame bar never moved from 0%, but it tamed anyway. <shrug>
