Then launch without -dx11, in fact launch without any parameter.
Load the character and then when you're in the game:
Type this console command:
ark.VertexCountScaling 1
On the Settings MENU:
Global Illumination Quality: Medium
Disable HLOD = ON (right down)
UI => Disable Menu Transitions (left down)
No launch parameters
I found of late that only by disabling the clouds completely can i get 55 fps.. with clouds i get 15 :D Some clouds..
Apparently my 6550 xt is 11% better than a 3060.. I use global illumination on epic, but do the rest on default. All I tend to disable now are clouds.. sometimes fog. I avg 50-55fps.. and have never crashed on startup, except, when crashing from the game, it seems if you crash the best thing to do is to restart your computer. Then rejoin.. that said I so rarely crash now..
