Removing Leedsichthys Mod
I've seen mod for adding creatures. I would like to see a mod for removing the Leedsichthys. Ark was a better game without this raft killer. Removing the Leedsichthys would promote more exploration of the deeper waters of ASA.

Use a canoe. Yes a canoe.

The Raft is safe inland and the Canoe is safe in the ocean.

Its like polar opposites of what they are intended to do but that is how it works.

I think this is just not true. I mean, what you want to explore in the open ocean? There is literally nothing out there. As for exploring the under water areas, you don't need a raft. You either need a water tame, or a scuba gear, perhaps both... Raft is just a mere transportation vehicle. Stay in the shallows, or go East, there is no Leeds there. On top of that, you can kill them really easily since all of them are level 1... or just make a motorboat, it can outrun regular Leeds with ease.

Canoes aren't in game yet.

Just put this in your game.ini and change the buggers into angler fish;

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Leedsichthys_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="Angler_Character_BP_C")
NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Alpha_Leedsichthys_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="Angler_Character_BP_C")

Make sure they are one line each.

Additional note: to get rid of the already spawn leeds you'll have to do; destroywilddinos in the console command (~tilde key), takes a few minutes for everything to start respawning. Should be done every time there are changes to anything related with creatures.

There is a mod that makes Leeds not attack rafts.... think its trusting leeds, or something along those lines

Thank you for this, my base raft was literally one bite away from destroying. All my loots would be gone. Begone Leeds!

It's insane how much sharks there are now.

You should be able to distract leeds with honey or something... might just be an ARK evolved thing
As I recall in the original ARK game they don't attack motor boat. So maybe try that. If it doesn't work then disabling there spawn via the ini should work. (not repeating the ini code as it was already noted here). As for the honey or such idea, that's not realistic even in the game as honey tends to mix with water. Personally I would prefer a mod that makes them ignore rafts, or build foundations (metal preferred) to protect the raft from harm.
