Quick Performance Guide
5 Nov 2023 - From my observations, the lighting in this game is the most taxing on your Graphics card. For instance, you can get higher fps if it's dark and raining . Also DLSS does not appear to be stable in this game.

In terms of performance:
4080/4090 @4k or 1440p
4070/4070Ti @ 1440p
4060/4060Ti @1080p

My recommendation is to use the guide below to replace DLSS from 3.5.10 to 3.5.0. I'm now crashing much less with 3.5.0.

For best results, pick a Graphics Preset to suite your Graphics card. It's best to keep those individual Quality presets as high as your graphics card can handle for the game to look good (the Graphics Presets are adequate in my opinion).

Enable DLSS and select Auto under Super Resolution. Auto will push fps higher than other settings where possible.

Lastly, disable Motion Blur if you prefer.

I'm getting between 45 - 70 fps depending on the location, flying, inside structures etc. I found that below 40 fps the game would not be playable.

Hope this helps.

To avoid crash:
Console command: ark.VertexCountScaling 1
Global Illumination Quality: Medium
Foliage Quality: Medium
Enable Foliage & Fluid Interaction = OFF (right top)
Disable HLOD = ON (right down)

Try max it out but use DLSS on Auto to see what fps you get.

odd im running a 1080 ti and i can get 60\50 fps with a mix of mid to low settings, still haven't had a crash if i set em all to max

medium means no Raytracing at all anymore.
Medium and Low are the same setting therefor your "guide" just deactivated Lumen and made the game ugly again ofcourse you get more FPS then.
